During an oil change, they "adjusted" the tire pressures, which had been set perfectly. All 4 tires should be 32 lbs. They set them all to different pressures: 33, 33.5, 36 and 36.5. This is very unsafe. The two highest were on the same side, and they were higher than the maximum pressure allowed (as marked on the side of the tire). If they couldn't set the tire pressure properly, I doubt that the oil change was done properly. I won't be going back. |

Initially I was there so they could replace my water pump belt. Something went wrong the first time they tried, but they apologized and had me come back the next day and fixed the issue at no extra cost to me. They are very honest , friendly, and customer service oriented. |

They were great at working on things during the pandemic. The mechanics are great and I have been able to rely on them for many repairs large and small. Went in for an oil change. The oil change was OK (as far as I can tell), but they also "checked" my tire pressures. What they actually did was mis-adjust the tire pressures. All my tire pressures were set perfectly when I went in. When I came out, all the tire pressures were wrong. Three different pressurse were set on four tires and none of them was correct! |
My old car failed inspection and needed some work to make it pass. The people at Belle Haven shell gave me an initial quote for the work and were able to make an appointment that suited my needs. They did the work in a timely fashion and the price actually came out lower than their initial quote, which is always a good thing. I like the fact that they texted me and emailed me to let me know the car was ready for pick up. Overall a good experience. Thanks for all the work! |

The shop called me while they were doing an oil change to notify me that my battery was near the end of life and needed to be replaced. It's been about 5 or so years since I last replaced the battery. They made arrangements to pickup a battery and install it while I was out and about. The shop stayed open an hour late to get the work done. Very much appreciated. Great technicians and management that always keep me in the loop when things unexpectedly come up. |

My recent experience with Belle Haven Shell was beyond excellent. They have done smaller jobs on my car in the past, i.e brakes, bulbs, oil changes and other things I can't remember off the top of my head, but this was the first fairly major repair on this car. I also have very favorable history with them on my previous car although that was over 15 years ago.I had numerous electrical issues which affected my brake and back-up lights as well as turn signal lights. In addition, the driver side window switch was broken. They repaired everything in a timely manner and at a very competitive price. They even gave me a lift to a friend's house when I dropped the car off.In the past I have taken my car to a shop that specializes in VWs and Audis for more significant repairs on my aged Golf GTI. While I've always been pleased with them and their prices were lower than the dealership's, BH Shell's prices were significantly lower and they did a fantastic job! My boyfriend the car geek was leery of me letting BH Shell mess with electrical stuff, but after chatting with both Saif and their mechanic I wanted to give them the business and I'm so glad I did! I don't believe they do things like transmissions, instead they send them out for that type of work, but I was super impressed with the expertise of BH's mechanics.Fostering a relationship with a garage/mechanic is important. Belle Haven Shell has earned my trust over the years and this last visit solidified it. Like most of us, I can smell dishonesty a mile away and these guys have never given me any reason to question their integrity. Not once. The entire staff is friendly and competent, a pleasure to do business with.I highly recommend Belle Haven Shell! |

Was pleasantly surprised by the total cost of the bill. Extremely inexpensive compared to other garages I've gone to. Slightly concerned that the correct oil was used because of end cost. Oil change, filled my coolant that was low, checked my tire pressure and put air in the tires that needed it. $55!!Will never go anywhere else! |

I dropped my car off at 8 am for new brakes and they had it done by noon. When dropping it off they even offered to drive me home although that was not needed. Seif and his crew are super courteous and efficient, I highly recommend them for car repairs, and have been doing going to them for almost 20 years and have always been pleased. It's difficult to find a local mechanic but I feel I hit the jackpot with them. They are trustworthy and have worked hard to earn and keep my business over the years. Again, highly recommend! |

I was quoted a very unreasonable amount by a competitor to fix the squeaking sound, over $1,000 for what they said was a needed new air compressor, so I went to Belle Haven for a second opinion. I was due an inspection for renewal of stickers.. Upon needing a new tire replaced and wipers I failed the inspection at this station .. I replaced the windshield wipers.. I had to have the tire replaced . I noticed a problem the lug attached was stripped and needed to be removed to replace the tire. Belle Haven Shell replaced the part and attached the tire ... inspected my truck . I passed inspection . During my wait I shared pleasant conversation with other customers and I was comfortable . I have come here over 20 years and I am pleased to be associated with Friendly Customer Service of employees servicing Belle Haven Shell. I will always return for service .. |

I have been taking my cars to BH Shell for maintenance and repairs for at least 10 years. They have they ensured that my 15 year old van is road worthy beyond its expectations and they take special care knowing my teen driver is behind the wheel. They also expertly maintain my newer Toyota Prius. They have replaced windshields, tires and provided countless other services in a timely and professional manner at reasonable cost. I always get great service with this Shell station. I had been having issues with my air conditioner for a few years. It finally wouldn't work at all. Because my car is a 1998, this is not unusual. I talked with Saif, we discussed options. They fixes the air conditioner and it works beautifully. They also fixed a pump in the windshield fluid dispenser. I was given a quote prior to the work. The work came in well under the quote. I love that I can drop off the car and pick it up until 10:00 at night. This makes it very convenient. Another great experience! Still going strong. I have been bringing my car here for 15 years. One thing I think is relatively new is getting text messages when the station needs to talk to me or to let me know the car is ready. I love this. Another huge added convenience. |

Additionally, I needed a fluid check. I had all this done, in and out in about 35 minutes. It was amazing. I have been going here for 15 years and they have always been amazing. My oil change was fine. I had another vehicle with a slow leak in the tire. They claimed they never found one and charged me for looking. Brought the car elsewhere and they found the leak and the nail that was causing it. They patched it and charged nothing for the service. |

Took 3 cars for inspection only one failed for alienment took that car that failed to three other places to get quotes Belle Haven was the best price so I returned to them to fix it and re-inspection. Don't go to Firestone on Rt 1. They tried to tell me I needed $1600 in work. Counter guy was rude and when I showed him that another Firestone had done $1100 in front end and alignment work just 6000 miles ago he tried to say it was other parts I needed not what was done, last time. Of course nothing was covered by the life time warranty that my paper work claimed all over the place. Belle Haven Shell is now my goto place bunch of good guys and honest!!! |

Car was in for a check on the A/C system because it was not producing cold air Friday, April 10. Picked up car April 11. April 13 needed the A/C because it got hot outside, only to discover it was NOT fixed and not working, no cool air was coming out. I will have to return the car to Shell April 15 late in the afternoon and make arrangements to use another car until this is (hopefully) fixed this second time around. |
